Total Access Live is very proud and honored to be holding our 1st annual NFFF (National Fallen Firefighters Foundation) benefit concert which we have so eloquently dubbed, “Code: Fearless”. The link to the site is up top if it didn’t already smack you in the face as you came in. We will be holding this event at the Roseland Ballroom (239 W 52nd St between Broadway and 8th) on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Headlining this show will be the great, the magnificent, the only COLLECTIVE SOUL! Opening acts will be singer/songwriter, Sam James, and the rock band, Downward Departure. The doors will open at 7:30, preceded by a cocktail hour. Tickets will start at $100 for general admission and all the booze your liver can muster. VP tickets will run about $300 a piece but make you look eloquent and flashy in front of your “once bit, twice shy” girlfriend who can no longer hide the fact that she thinks you’re cheap. Again all the information is on www.codefearless.com and tickets go on sale 3/21/08.
Working together with Stephanie Holland and Dan Deluca over at Squadra Films (www.squadrafilms.com), Ron Siarnicki, fire chief and executive director of the NFFF, and company at the NFFF, Total Access Live is proud to be a part of this benefit to honor our fallen heroes, their families and all our nation’s firefighters who suit up and put their lives on the line everyday and proceeds will be donated to the NFFF. Sponsorships are still available and very much welcome.
So, we hope to see you there to make this the 1st of many benefit concerts and let’s face it…when are you going to get another chance to see firefighters come together and get drunk in the same room all while listening to live rock music? One of my Cousin Ned’s summer BBQ’s but that’s about it…….also he starts more fires then he stops.

Sal Locascio, VP of Total Access Live and unlicensed freelance surgeon. You know the guy from the news who had his middle and pointer finger swapped? That was all me.

OK, it’s been a little while but here’s what’s been happening at Total Access Live. First things first. I’m thrilled to say that the first ever Total Access Live Pod Jockey Show is a hit and has started turning heads and making positive ripples in both the radio and podcasting world. Our thanks to Michael Harrison and the other people at www.podjockey.com and Talker’s magazine for all their help and support. The first show featured such artists as The Free Radicals, Downward Departure, Foos, Gina Cutillo, Chuck Berry and others. We look forward to next month when we’ll have on Project Vibe, Oslo, Stealing Jane and much, much more!
In other radio related news, we’re proud to announce that our weekly show, Total Access Live Radio, has begun airing on KLAV 1230 AM Las Vegas from 3:00 to 4:00 PM (Pacific Time) which can be heard in many of the casinos and restaurants in the Las Vegas metro area. We’re also airing in Boston on WWZN 1510 AM from 9:00 to 10:00 PM. Remember that a lot of rock started on AM radio so we’re just bringing new music back to where it was originally played.
With the reconstruction of this site happening as we speak, you’ll be happy to know that our main page will soon house links to several of our featured band’s sites and our radio/podcast links as well.
Finally, and just to make mention, Total Access Live will be holding a charity event in NYC for the NFFF (National Fallen Firefighters Foundation) sometime in May featuring the rock band, “Collective Soul” as the headliner. It will be called “Code: Fearless”. More news on that as it arrives.
In the meantime, feel welcome to leave some feedback about any of the music we’ve played, shows or even the site. Anything you think we can do to improve how we operate or get you closer to what you’re looking for, please let us know! You can e-mail me at Sal.Locascio25@gmail.com with any questions, suggestions or comments. Until next time…

VP of Total Access Live and coordinator of all things impossibly handsome

HEY, YOU GUYYYYYYS! Things are starting to move forward at an incredible pace here at Total Access Live, even quicker than my Aunt Wilma’s paycheck from the bank to the liquor store. Through the help and guidance of Michael Harrison of Talker’s magazine, “Total Access Live Radio with Bob Kosch” will not only be advertising in Talker’s magazine, referred to by many as the ‘Bible of the talk showindustry’ (the King James version…. King Solomon had his chance), on a regular monthly basis, but will make its Pod Jockey debut in early March. We will be the first music/talk show to be added to the Pod Jockey line-up and the show will feature everything from new, unsigned artists to bands and musical talents from around the globe. The show will air each month and can be heard on both www.Podjockey.com and www.TotalAccessLive.com.

We’re confident and anxious to see it all unfold in the coming months and hope that either your curiosity, a thirst for something new, a starving musical appetite, or just you looking for a new way to try and find something that you possibly wouldn’t have found at all keeps you enthralled and coming back for more. Inthe meantime, don’t forget that we also have our weekly radio show on ESPN 107.1 (the former WLIR) airing at 8:00 sunday nights (go to www.wlir.com to webstream). Heard of David Abbinanti? How about the Free Radicals, Project Vibe, Sam James, Downward Departure or Gina Cutillo? Perhaps you’ve heard of a band called Foos? well if you haven’t, start tuning in for the most diverse new music that you’ve never heard … yet.

Sal Locascio,
VP of Total Access Live, LLC and the guy you hope will never date your daughter but most likely will mainly out of spite for that pony you never bought her.

Alright, America! Put down that trendy micro-brew, tell your mother that you’ll call her back, (even if you don’t mean it) and on behalf of everyone here at TAL, we’d like to welcome you home to Total Access Live. Here at TAL, we have something for everyone, whether it’s a starved musical appetite, a window into what’s new and climbing the ranks in entertainment, a fresh outlook on our constantly changing yet ever-expanding entertainment industry (well, that just sounds fancy), or even the idea of my many blogs to come being the only thing that’s keeping you going now that the wife left, took the dog and you’re treating yourself to an emergency can of cream of mushroom soup for dinner … whatever the reason.

We are, in fact, looking to help remold and revitalize the entertainment industry for the better, be it music, film, literature … pretty much everything multimedia. As our motto goes, “By the way … we’re reinventing the wheel.” The fact is that we’re working hard to put and keep you in touch with people and music that you’ve probably never heard of but should.

Our radio show, “Total Access Live Radio with Bob Kosch” airs on ESPN 107.1 (the former WLIR) from 8:00 to 9:00 Sunday nights (go to www.wlir.com to webstream). Here, you can listen to all sorts of new music that we’ve assembled. We have everything ranging from local artists all the way to artists in Australia. (Have you ever seen a Koala take a drum solo? We have and if you’re good, maybe we’ll show you.)

I could go on and on about our dealings (he said after the shameless radio show plug) but the truth is you’ll all be watching this unfold as it happens and we want you to be a part of that, whether we help promote your music, your thoughts about an independent film, or how you can get closer and more intimate with someone’s artistic creation that we’ve brought to the surface. Even if it’s just a suggestion on how you think we could be more efficient in giving you the world of ’soon to be well known’ media, we want to bring you the world on a silver platter.

We encourage you all to help us shape the future’s media and feel free to e-mail me at ddep906@yahoo.com with any questions, comments or creations you might have. So once again, let me welcome you all to the Total Access Live family, which is hopefully nothing like my real family because I can barely stomach Grandpa Bernie’s unprovoked drunken racist Christmas rants that we all awkwardly overlook because he’s of another generation as it is. With that said, my soup is getting cold. Take care.

Sal Locascio
VP of Total Access Live, LLC, confirmed bachelor and apparent complainer
